Dissent deserves the support of everyone who considers themselves a leftist. In a climate saturated with lame, tamed, cowering mainstream media focused almost entirely on symptom, not disease, Dissent looks at the real issues, and its existence is invaluable.” —Mark Bittman

“Always challenging, occasionally infuriating. Dissent is indispensable for anyone who wants to understand the strange times in which we live.” —Katha Pollitt

“Dissent is one of the noblest and most decent publications in the country.” —Benjamin Kunkel

“A pillar of leftist intellectual provocation”—New York Times
